JIYOUNG RYU, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Jiyoung Ryu is a double board-certified physician with over 15 years of experience. She completed her residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York, followed by fellowship training in pain management, and is board-certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

After medical school, Dr. Ryu developed a strong interest in aesthetics and weight loss while working at 365MC, a leading weight loss clinic in Seoul, where she recognized the critical role of patient counseling in achieving successful outcomes. She later completed advanced training in facial and body aesthetics in South Korea, including at ME Clinic in Seoul’s Gangnam district. Licensed in both the U.S. and South Korea, she returns to Korea annually to stay current with the latest innovations in skincare and aesthetics.
Dr. Ryu specializes in safe, minimally invasive procedures that deliver natural-looking results and emphasizes the integration of counseling with procedures and medications. She is proud to bring the latest advances in aesthetics and weight loss to the DMV.
Raised in New York, Los Angeles, Cary, and Seoul, Dr. Ryu is fluent in English, Korean, and Japanese. She enjoys spending time with her husband, a surgeon at Duke University Hospital, and their two young children, and is also a food blogger on Instagram.
DR. JIN KYUNG SONG
Dr. Jin Kyung Song, PhD is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon certified by the Korean Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She earned both her M.D. and Ph.D. in Anatomy from the Catholic University of Korea, where her doctoral training provided a strong foundation in surgical anatomy, tissue science, and evidence-based technique. Her academic background informs her meticulous, safety-focused approach to aesthetic and reconstructive procedures.

Dr. Song previously served as an attending surgeon at Grace Plastic Surgery Clinic in Seoul, Korea and as Director of the Hanil Burn Center, where she managed complex reconstructive and burn cases. In addition to her surgical expertise, she is an experienced laser provider, offering advanced energy-based treatments for skin rejuvenation, pigmentation, vascular concerns, and scar management, with a focus on achieving refined, natural-looking results.
